Style advice for all Body types #5

Lesson #5 - Jean Pockets to help Behind

A fuller rear: Choose large, straight pockets spaced somewhat close together. Make sure the pocket hits the lower part of your bottom or it will make your bottom look too big for the jeans and will be diprportionate looking. Also, stick with subtle stitching.

A flatter rear: Medium-size pockets at a slight angle will create the illusion of fullnes. Flaps and embroidery also get a thumbs-up for contributing extra dimension.  Pockets that are to big, will overtake your rear and make it look like that there is nothing there.

A, well, not-so-young rear: To fight droopage that can occur with age get pockets that are closer together and sit higher up. Curvy details (loops and swirls versus chevrons and stripes) can create a curvier look, but too much "bling" can just call attention to an area best left alone.  Keep a look classic and simple.
